The Scarborough Community Scholarship Foundation is a locally operated and supported, non-profit, tax exempt scholarship foundation. Our basic mission is very simple - to encourage Scarborough students to pursue higher education. We believe one of the best ways to do that is to provide financial support to them.

We are a chapter of Scholarship America, the nation’s largest non-profit, private sector scholarship organization.

Why?

     Rising costs are closing doors to higher education for many individuals in our community - at the very time our economy demands more highly skilled graduates.

     Through SCSF, we have the opportunity to make a strong collective statement about the importance of education beyond high school.

     The SCSF awards scholarships to graduating seniors residing in Scarborough. The funds are provided through dollars raised right here in Scarborough by people who believe in the importance of continuing education.

How to Apply

     SCSF awards are open to any graduating senior residing in Scarborough who plans to pursue some form of post-secondary education.
